Colossians 3 "Convicting"
I love this chapter, I have printed it off and I hope to read it regularly to remind me of my new life and of how I am now meant to live. This chapter is one of the ones I feel Paul is writing directly to me. This chapter is simple about how we are to live our lives. If you read this and can't see how to live your life, if you ask how to do the things it asks then your life is too busy you need to slow down and concentrate on what is simple what is right what is true. STOP Be Quiet Read and Listen.

Glad you like this one - it has a lot to say!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it written directly to you? What is Paul saying to you (on a deeper level?) How are you staying away from the 'busy'?
All of the issues Paul talks about here are very prevalent in my life. He gives me the answer to my question how do I live my life other than just obeying the Big 10.
ReplyDeletePaul is telling me I am living not for myself anymore and I need to keep that in mind all the time. But I can get deeper later.
As far as the "busy" goes I am slowing down. Instead of going 5 miles over the speed limit, knowing the cops probably won't stop me, I force myself to go 3 under and am finding it doesn't take that much longer to get there and I am not risking my life. (literally and metaphorically)
